Online Application Process :
In any situation if you want to change the EXAMINATION CENTER . You have to pay Rs.400
The approaching process is
Requests for change of examination city will be accepted till November 20, 2013 with a fee of ₹ 400/- to be paid in the form of a demand draft in favour of “Chairman GATE 2014", payable at the city of the respective Zonal GATE Office. Please send this DD to the zonal GATE office where you have sent the application form.
And Another Important thing is "You Can not CHANGE THE EXAMINATION PAPER once you submit the application ".

Online Application Process :
- Goto IIT karagpur website (Gate 2014)
- Click on Gate 2014
- Then you find the "Apply Online Button " on your right side top corner
- Then again page appears Quotining instructions under that you will find "Apply Online Button"
- Click Button " New User ? Register Here " Button
- Now , Fill the form and Click the register Button
- Then You will get the datails of the login FOR the further Registration purpose by E-mail , SMS
- Now you have to login with that details(Enrollment Id) @ login
Enrolment id will be like "AXXXXXX" Eg : A125G45
- Then fill up the remaining form "Upload the Scanned Photo and the Scanned Signature "
- Fill Up the form Correctly "Once You freez the Options You Can't Edit it"
- After Checking It Then Click Proceed to pay Button at the Bottom of the Page
- Now You can Made payment by two methods 1 ) Online 2) Offline
- If You Select OFFLINE then you have to wait for 48 hours make PAYMENT at your nearest Bank "Extra Charges will be Rs.25" (Total Amount : Rs. 1500 + 25 or Rs. 750+ 25) You have to pay
- If You select Online then You can choose Only 1 way to pay online :( X) Using Debit Card X) Using Credit Card ) 1) Using Internet Banking only
- Extra Charges for Online Payment will be "Rs . 10"(Total Amount : Rs.1500+ 10 or Rs.750 +10)
- After Payment Your Next Step is to send the Online Filled Form Print Out to IIT karagpur .
- " Form to send to the IIT " was obtained after making NetBanking / Offline payment in the form of "PDF"
- PDF Contains 2 Pages :
- Page 1: Instructions and Address slip (of where you need to send the hard copy) to be pasted on an A4 sized envelope
- Page 2: Application form with bottom part showing certificate to be signed by principal. One copy for the candidate and another to be sent to GATE office.
