Hi friends .!
You have a pen drive which is detected in your system or laptop but it is not opening or asking you to format , but , not formatted .
Then the reason is that the your pendrives file system is changed to Raw or any other format .
Then to get your pendrive to its original state you have to do a small work in your desktop or laptop .
First right click on the my computer option .
Then system/computer management .
You can also access this menu by going through control panel .
Next you have to select the
DISK MANAGEMENT( CREATE AND FORMAT disk partitions in system and security )
then create new volume with unallocated space of your pendrive
and give your pendrive the appropriate letter as j, k or else any letter then format in the file system as NTFS that solves the problem
(these options are observed by giving right click )
* "Some pendrives not opened in Windows may be Accessed by linux . Save your data by using Linux OS like ubuntu and then make the changes @ windows ".
Caution :
By using this procedure the data in your pendrive will be completely lost and can not be recovered .
so follow the tip of accessing pendrive with linux flavours and copy your data and perform operations
